long lSwGate specifies the desired state of the hardware gate

The AL_SetSwGate function enables or disables a hardware control gate.

Parameter Description

lhld Identifies the instance of the logical device subsystem.

lSwGate Specifies the hardware gate state. The available settings are defined in the

ADLIB include file as follows:

• DISABLED The device is stopped.

• ENABLED The device is enabled to run.

Returns:

On success ERRNUM is set to 1, otherwise ERRNUM contains the last error code that occurred during the

call.
